The Business
Most companies don’t think seriously about marketing until they’ve been around for a while. Dock Solutions of Kentucky did it from the start.
When the company launched, ownership understood that the marketing foundation they built early would shape everything that came after. They weren’t looking for someone to post on social media or run a few ads. They wanted a long-term marketing partner who could help guide the brand and grow alongside the business.
And they had a clear ambition. Dock Solutions wanted to be a premium provider of docks, lifts and outdoor living solutions, serving homeowners who value quality craftsmanship, great service and long-term investment in their waterfront properties.
The Challenge
Being new in a competitive market is hard. Being new and premium is harder.
Dock Solutions had to earn attention without an established reputation behind it. At the same time, it needed to justify a higher price point against lower-cost competitors. If a homeowner can’t see the difference in quality, the cheaper option usually wins.
That meant tactics alone weren’t going to work. Dock Solutions needed a brand, a message and a marketing strategy that could communicate the value behind its work. And it needed a marketing system that could support a growing business while building a recognizable, high-end brand across Kentucky and surrounding markets.
What We Found
The opportunity was in what Dock Solutions was actually selling.
A dock isn’t just a structure. For a waterfront homeowner, it’s where weekends happen. It’s mornings on the lake, afternoons with family and a property that’s worth more because of it.
That gave Dock Solutions two stories to tell: the quality of the craftsmanship and the lifestyle the finished project creates. Lower-cost competitors could talk about price. Dock Solutions could show homeowners what they’d be investing in.
The other key insight was timing. Because we started in the company’s first year, we didn’t have to fix an inconsistent brand or undo years of scattered marketing. We could build it right from the beginning.
The Plan
Our work centered around three priorities.
1. Establish Premium Positioning From the Start
We developed messaging that reflected Dock Solutions’ premium positioning. The goal was to give homeowners a clear reason to choose quality over the lowest bid, and to make sure every piece of marketing reinforced that message.
2. Build the Digital Foundation
A new business needs a credible digital presence fast. We helped establish Dock Solutions’ presence online and continue to manage its website, which serves as the hub for everything the marketing drives toward.
3. Show the Work and the Life Around It
We created content that showcased both the craftsmanship behind each project and the lifestyle it creates, like social reels filmed on Herrington Lake. Through project storytelling, social media, email marketing and digital advertising, that content reaches homeowners wherever they are in the decision.
As the business has grown, the partnership has grown with it. Our work has expanded to support new service offerings, larger projects and a growing customer base across Kentucky and beyond.

The Results
The numbers from the first quarter of 2026 show how far the brand has come:
124,000 website clicks to kydocks.com
3.06 million Facebook reel views
9.96 million views on Instagram
721%+ increase in ad conversions
Those results came from a young company competing against established players.
But the most meaningful result is this: Dock Solutions didn’t have to grow into a premium brand. It built one from day one, with a marketing foundation that keeps getting stronger as the business grows.
