The Opportunity
For decades, Greater Kentucky Credit Union built strong relationships with members and established itself as a trusted financial institution within the communities it serves. As a new leadership team stepped into place, the organization recognized an opportunity to build upon that foundation while preparing for the future.
Like many established credit unions, GTKY faced the challenge of balancing tradition with modernization. The existing brand, website, and marketing presence no longer fully reflected the organization's vision, evolving product offerings, or the expectations of today's consumers.
At the same time, leadership saw an opportunity to strengthen engagement with younger generations while continuing to serve its loyal membership base. The credit union wasn't looking to abandon what made it successful, it was looking to modernize the member experience, clarify its messaging, and position the organization for the next chapter of growth.
The Process
We began with a strategic planning and audit process designed to identify opportunities, challenges, and priorities for the organization. Through stakeholder conversations and strategic workshops, we helped establish a clear marketing roadmap and messaging framework.

The Solution
Working alongside leadership, we refined the organization's messaging and helped develop the "Think Greater" platform, creating a more unified brand experience across channels. We then redesigned the credit union's website to improve usability, product visibility, and the overall member experience.
