How We Helped a Home Services Company Build a Record Year

How clearer positioning, a stronger digital presence and a cohesive marketing strategy helped an established home services company reach its next stage of growth.
The Business
Right Angle Home Services had already built the hardest part of a great business: a reputation for doing exceptional work. Their team had earned the trust of homeowners through craftsmanship, customer service and an approach to remodeling centered around doing things the right way. The quality was there. The customer experience was there.
And the business had ambitions to grow. But the marketing hadn't caught up.
As Right Angle prepared for its next stage, leadership recognized that simply doing more marketing wasn't going to be enough. They needed greater clarity around how the company was positioned, how they communicated their value and how marketing could consistently support their growth goals.
The Challenge
Right Angle's challenge is one we see often in established businesses. The company had grown because it was good at what it did, not because it had built a sophisticated marketing machine.
That meant there were pieces of marketing happening, but there wasn't one clear strategy connecting them. The company's messaging didn't fully communicate what made Right Angle different. Its digital presence didn't reflect the caliber of its work. And some of its greatest marketing assets: the projects, people and craftsmanship behind the company, weren't being leveraged to their full potential.
The answer wasn't to immediately start buying more ads or producing more content.
We first needed to understand the business, where it wanted to go and what was standing between Right Angle and that next stage of growth. So that's where we started.
What We Found
Through our
Blueprint
process, one opportunity stood above the rest:
Right Angle was better than its marketing made it look.
The company wasn't simply another remodeling contractor. There was a level of craftsmanship, attention to detail and customer care that created a fundamentally different experience.
That distinction needed to become much clearer.
We also saw an opportunity to make Right Angle's actual work a much bigger part of its marketing. Every completed kitchen, bathroom, addition or whole-home transformation was evidence of what the company could do. Instead of treating those projects as a handful of photos for social media, they could become stories that helped prospective customers understand the thought, expertise and craftsmanship behind the finished product.
Most importantly, Right Angle needed a marketing strategy built around where the business was trying to go, not simply a collection of marketing tasks.
The Plan
Our work centered around three priorities.
1. Clarify the Positioning
Before generating more attention, we needed to give prospective customers a clearer reason to choose Right Angle. We refined the company's messaging around its craftsman-led approach and the quality of the experience it provides.
Rather than competing as another company capable of completing a remodel, the marketing needed to communicate the expertise, care and craftsmanship behind the work. That positioning became the foundation for everything that followed.
2. Build a Digital Presence That Matched the Business
For a company selling major home projects, the website has an important job. Prospective customers aren't making an impulse purchase. They're evaluating whether they can trust a company with their home, their money and a project that may take months to complete.
We redesigned Right Angle's website to better support that decision-making process. The goal was to more clearly communicate the company's positioning, showcase the quality of its work and give prospective customers confidence before they ever spoke with the team.
3. Turn Great Work Into Great Marketing
Right Angle already had its best source of marketing content: the work it completed every day. We developed a more intentional approach to capturing and telling those stories through photography, video, social content and detailed project features.
Rather than simply showing the finished room, we could tell the story behind it: what the homeowner wanted to accomplish, the decisions that shaped the project, the craftsmanship involved and the transformation that resulted.
That gave prospective customers something much more valuable than another before-and-after photo. It helped them picture what working with Right Angle could look like for their own home.
The Results
Today, Right Angle is experiencing record growth. While specific sales figures remain confidential, the company has reached new levels of sales performance as the business and its marketing have matured together.
The leading indicators have moved with it. Right Angle has experienced substantial increases in organic social reach, video consumption and visibility through Google, while building a much stronger library of content and project stories that can continue supporting the brand over time.
But the most meaningful result isn't any individual marketing metric. It's that the quality of the company's marketing is beginning to match the quality of the company itself.
Right Angle has clearer positioning, a stronger digital presence and a more cohesive system for turning the work it already does exceptionally well into opportunities for future growth.
